Too often we forget that colours are not simply the particular characteristic of an object that makes us say it is blue, yellow or red, but modulations of light. Each colour corresponds to spirits belonging to powerful hierarchies, and initiates know how to mentally create beams of different coloured light in which heavenly creatures come and go.
So there is an entire work you can do with colours. By concentrating on them, knowing that they are connected to entities, you can bring them to life in you. They can then become a support for the practice of virtues, and they will sustain you in your efforts. Just as colours are variations of light, so the virtues are variations of the divine perfection that contains them all.
