Physical body - its functions are a lesson for us

Human beings have a body: they live with it, they look after it, they feed it, wash it, clothe it, and even make it up! But do they ever bother to decipher what this body wants to convey to them with its limbs and organs? Some, perhaps, but so few! Well, in this body, which only functions properly because it is animated by the spirit, they must read a lesson: how God and Nature envisioned things by placing the body under the authority of the spirit. May this lesson inspire them in the conduct of their lives, which is to say, may they place everything that is material and transitory at the service of the essential. Material and transitory things will always play a role in our lives and can even be very useful, but only if we have learned to put them at the service of that which is essential: the spirit.
