Perseverance
A condition for success

True success does not depend on a single moment of violent, spectacular effort, but on small efforts repeated daily. When water drips onto a rock one drop at a time, it eventually forms a hollow. And yet, the drop of water is so gentle and the rock so hard!
Do not let up for a single day, for the secret of success lies in continuity and perseverance. If you stop, you even risk losing what you have gained, for matter has huge powers of resistance, and its tendency is always to return to its prime inert state. You have to keep working at elevating it and then at keeping it at the level you yourself wish to attain so that you can make it your home.
