Archangel gabriel

Commands the forces that condense matter

The winter solstice is presided over by Archangel Gabriel. A few days later it is Christmas, which celebrates a birth, that is, a materialization, a crystallization on the physical plane, characteristic of winter when everything freezes and becomes immobile.
Archangel Gabriel commands the forces that have the property of condensing matter. He is the Archangel of the Moon, which concentrates the elements. If it had not been prevented from doing so by other influences, the Moon would have materialized and petrified everything that exists: plants, animals and human beings. When Initiates wish to materialize an idea, a project, they use the conditions offered by the winter solstice, for this is a propitious period for something to be born on earth. The other cardinal feasts correspond to other processes: Easter to resurrection; St John to the kindling of fire; Michaelmas to separation. Only the feast of Christmas is linked to an incarnation.*
