Elixir of everlasting life
It is distributed by the sun

Prayer, meditation and ecstasy are all forms of nourishment. Through them, we savour that heavenly sustenance, ambrosia, the food of immortality. It is an immaterial food, but it also has an equivalent on the physical plane, which alchemists call ‘the elixir of everlasting life’.
This elixir is disseminated everywhere in nature by the sun. That is precisely why we go to watch the sun rise each morning during spring and summer: in order to drink this quintessence of life that the sun spreads throughout the universe. All living beings—stones, plants, animals and humans—receive some particles of this quintessence and absorb them unconsciously. But human beings can learn to capture them consciously from this fluid, the light of the sun.*
