Sacred scriptures often mention the role played by a precious garment. This garment is symbolic. It represents the aura, that is, the spiritual emanation of the inner being. The Old Testament tells us that Jacob’s sons were jealous of their brother Joseph because of his beautiful coat. The fact that Moses said that this was a coat of many colours proves that it is a symbol of the aura, whose pure, shimmering colours correspond to its different qualities and virtues.
Let your love for the divine world and your desire to let it manifest itself through you be the means by which you strive patiently to weave your own garment of light and colour, for it is this garment, this aura, that will enable you to pass unscathed through all temptations and seductions.
