Knowing oneself
Freeing oneself from one’s denser bodies in order to live solely in one’s divine bodies
July 26th 2021
If people knew how to study the smallest acts of their daily life with a view to interpreting them, just by getting dressed and undressed each day, they would understand that they are repeating the process of incarnation, the descent into matter, and disincarnation, the return to the spirit. Just as when we get dressed, we begin by putting on the lightest clothes (undershirt, shirt and so on) and finish with the heavy overcoat, it is the same when we incarnate on the earth: we enter bodies of increasing density until we reach the physical body.
If human beings have not yet learned to recognize themselves as they truly are, it is because they are still wrapped in several layers. To know themselves, they must divest themselves of all these clothes; in other words, they must break free from their physical, astral and mental bodies, in order to live solely in their divine bodies – that is, the causal, buddhic and atmic bodies.
