About Us
Established in 1976 and located in Fréjus (France), Prosveta is an independent publishing house dedicated to disseminating the teachings of Master Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov (1900-1986).
Prosveta's motivation is to participate in spreading the universal message of peace, unity and fraternity that Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov addresses to our modern world, beyond any barriers of race, culture or ideology.
Prosveta Editions S.A. hold worldwide publication rights to his work, principally publishing in French and English and granting rights of translation and publishing (or co-publication) in other languages.
Several independent publishers also use the Prosveta name when publishing his work in their own country and language (India, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Greece, Hungary, etc.).
Since the inception of Prosveta, nearly 7 millions copies of Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov's works have been distributed worldwide, translated in more than 30 languages, with 150 000 copies being distributed each year.
Prosveta offers a large catalogue of more than 120 books and eBooks (four major collections including paperbacks), lectures on CD, DVD and also in MP3 for download, of impromptu talks given in French by Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov over a period of 50 years.
The universalism of Omraam Mikhaël Aïvanhov's teaching is based on a clarity of teaching that is accessible to all, a complete and up-to-date view on all the major issues of our society as well as practical, concrete methods of responding to them.
In Slavonic etymology the word Prosveta means: « to spread spiritual light ».
